Thigh Lifting

Thigh lifting, or crural dermal defatting is an intervention that serves to remodel the 3rd. superomedial level of the thigh, by removing adipose tissue and excess cutis. This intervention is not usually practised in patients of normal weight. It is routinely used however in obese patients who have lost weight with considerable dermal laxity at the medial level of the thigh. The intervention lasts around 3 – 4 hours and requires 1 – 2 days of hospitalisation.
