Otoplasty

Otoplasty is the intervention to correct loop ears (commonly called “sticking-out” ears) by recreating the normal form of the ala auris and by reducing the auricular temporal angle to within normal values. It is performed under local anaesthesia in a Day-Hospital. The patient must wear a constricting elastic band for several days. The stitches are removed after 10/12 days.
